Look Who's Coming

Friday Night

Contact Us

We have picked a date and place for dining, reminiscing, and partying the night away for our 55-year class reunion:

  • Where: Marina City Club, 4333 Admiralty Way, Marina del Rey, CA
  • When:  Saturday, September 21, 2013, 5:30-11:00 p.m.
  • Price: $75 Per Person (for payment by March 31, 2013)

The Marina City Club has reserved for us an attractive and comfortable party room with windows overlooking yachts in the marina and plenty of room for the large gathering of classmates and friends we are anticipating.  The Marina City Club is right next door to the FantaSea Yacht Club where we held our fabulous 50-year class reunion.

There will be a full-course buffet dinner so we can socialize to our hearts’ content and eat whenever we want.  We’re not going to have a band or a DJ this time.  We learned our lesson at the last reunion.  It’s hard to socialize with old friends with loud music and we found that it’s even harder to control the volume of a band or a DJ.  Instead, we will have recorded music from the 50s playing softly in the background during portions of the evening.  There is a dance floor for those who want to dance to a great collection of “oldies but goodies.”

We will have another casual Friday night dinner gathering for locals and early arrivals at Mariasol’s Mexican restaurant on the famous Santa Monica Pier.  Well over a hundred people turned out for the “meet and greet” at Mariasol’s for our 50-year reunion.  We’re expecting another vibrant crowd this time.  We’re also arranging a Saturday tour of the Samohi campus.  We will provide more information on those plans soon.

To secure your reservation for the Saturday night dinner party, please make your check to Samohi Class of ’58 Reunion and send it to:
